The top five travel applications in Mexico during the fourth quarter of 2023 showcased a range of performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a dynamic quarter with its weekly downloads fluctuating but peaking at about 247K in mid-December. Weekly active users also saw substantial numbers, starting the quarter at approximately 5.4M and peaking at nearly 6M in mid-December before a dip to around 4.7M by the end of the year.

Uber - Request a ride experienced consistent growth in downloads, reaching a high of approximately 221K in mid-December. Its weekly active users also increased steadily, peaking at about 5.8M in mid-December before declining slightly to around 4.6M by the end of December.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw its downloads peak at around 112K in the last week of December. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, starting at around 2.3M in late September and reaching approximately 2.7M in early December before a slight decrease to around 2.4M by the end of the year.

Airbnb had a notable increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around 72K in the last week of December. Weekly active users also showed a significant rise, reaching approximately 505K by the end of December, up from about 383K at the start of the quarter.
