In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five shopping apps in the Netherlands demonstrated varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and weekly active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of these trends.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at 133K in the week of December 4, before a slight dip to 98K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users steadily rose from 735K at the beginning of October to nearly 960K by the end of December.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes experienced fluctuating downloads, starting at 29K and ending at 15K in the last week of December. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, starting at 1.7M and finishing the quarter with approximately 1.6M users.

Albert Heijn supermarkt had a relatively stable download rate, beginning the quarter with 32K downloads and ending with 14K. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 1.07M and closing the quarter at around 1.06M.

SHEIN - Shopping Online showed a downward trend in downloads, from 27K at the start of October to 12K by the end of December. The app’s weekly active users also decreased, starting at 1.04M and ending with around 762K.

Lidl Plus exhibited a consistent download trend, with a minor peak of 20K in the week of November 6 and dropping to 12K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 620K at the start of October to approximately 540K by the end of December.
