In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five shopping apps in the Netherlands showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their statistics based on Sensor Tower data.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 133.5K in early December. Active users also rose steadily, reaching nearly 1M towards the beginning of December before slightly decreasing to around 960K by the end of the month.

PLUS Kadokorting experienced a significant surge in downloads in early November with a peak of about 235.9K. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of the quarter, dropping to approximately 1.9K in the last week of December.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes had fluctuating weekly downloads, starting strong with around 33.9K in late October but declining to about 14.5K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at over 1.8M in mid-October and ending the quarter at approximately 1.6M.

Albert Heijn supermarkt maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a slight peak at about 25.7K in late October. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.1M, with a slight increase to 1.14M in mid-December.

Klarna | Shop now. Pay later. observed a noticeable spike in downloads around Black Friday, reaching approximately 39.8K in the week of November 20. Active users also saw a rise, peaking at around 275.3K in late November before settling to about 248.4K by the end of December.
