Q4 2023 Performance of Top MMORPG Apps in Europe

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the European MMORPG market has witnessed some interesting trends among the top applications. Data sourced from Sensor Tower offers insights into how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Diablo Immortal sustained a strong presence with revenue peaking at $648K in mid-December, following a dip to $262K in mid-October. Downloads saw an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, rising from 15K to 20K. Weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at 293K and ending the quarter at 260K.

HongKong Miracle Network Limited's new entrant, MU: Dragon Havoc, launched in mid-October, showed an impressive start with revenue hitting $203K in the last week of October. Downloads peaked at 48K in the same week, but gradually decreased to 5K by the end of December. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting strong at 42K and then stabilizing to around 24K.

NCSOFT's Lineage2M, though not new to the scene, saw a significant revenue jump to $225K in late November. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 2K to 3K throughout the quarter. The weekly active users experienced a modest increase from 2K to around 2.7K.

Playa Games GmbH's Shakes and Fidget: Idle RPG demonstrated resilience with revenue spiking to $189K in the third week of November. Despite a slight decrease in downloads by the end of December to 7K, weekly active users remained fairly consistent, concluding the quarter at 123K.

Lastly, Ark Games' The Legend of Neverland experienced its highest revenue in the last week of December at $98K, with a steady growth in downloads reaching 32K. The active user base showed a slight decrease over the quarter, finishing at 121K.
