European Lifestyle Apps Q4 2023: Downloads & Engagement Insights

The final quarter of 2023 has brought interesting developments in the lifestyle app category in Europe. With data provided by Sensor Tower, we can delve into the performance of the top 5 lifestyle applications on the unified iOS and Android platform.

Pinterest saw a fluctuating trend in downloads starting at 846K in late September and peaking at over 1M by the year's end. Weekly active users showed an upward trajectory, climbing from 90M to nearly 95M in the same period.

Google Home experienced a steady increase in downloads, from 203K to 380K, indicating growing interest. Its active user count also rose, from 2.6M in late September to nearly 2.9M by Christmas.

Amazon Alexa witnessed a significant surge in downloads, with figures more than sextupling from 108K to 659K. The app's weekly active users reflected this growth, increasing from 3.6M to 4.6M throughout the quarter.

Mi Home - Manage smart devices also saw an upward trend, with downloads rising from 156K to over 319K. While the app's revenue remained in the tens of thousands, active users showed a modest increase from 2.5M to over 2.5M.

Lastly, Glovo: Food Delivery and more, despite its revenue being at zero, had its downloads peak at 225K in early November before settling at 197K by quarter's end. The app's active users saw a peak of over 3.2M in early December, ending slightly lower at 2.8M.
