In the last quarter of 2023, France's leading lifestyle applications showed a mix of upward and downward trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Data from Sensor Tower gives us a closer look at how each app fared.

Tinder: Chat, Dating & Friends experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at $530K in late September and dipping to around $415K by year-end. Downloads hit a high of approximately 34K in early October, followed by a dip and a year-end spike to nearly 39K. Weekly active users started strong at 1.6M but saw a gradual decline, finishing at about 1.5M.

The app's downloads remained relatively consistent, ranging from 7K to 8.7K, while weekly active users showed slight variability, starting at approximately 171K and ending the quarter near the same figure.

happn — Dating app also experienced revenue fluctuations, peaking at $134K in early October and ending at $109K. Downloads peaked at 22K in early October but decreased to around 16.5K by year-end. Active users saw a significant drop from 610K in early October to 543K by the quarter's end.

Bumble: Dating & Friends App maintained a steady revenue pattern, with a slight peak of $147K in late October and a year-end figure of $129K. The app's downloads saw an upward trend, starting at 18.7K and reaching 23.7K by December. Weekly active users had a slight decline from 333K to 320K over the quarter.

Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends showed a relatively stable revenue through the quarter, starting at $101K and ending at nearly $110K. Downloads saw a slight decline from 22.3K to 18.7K. The weekly active users started at 765K, peaked at 859K in late November, but decreased to 743K by the end of December.
