During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five insurance applications in South America demonstrated notable performance metrics on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user trends for each app.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão e + had a remarkable quarter in terms of downloads. The app started the quarter with around 31.5K downloads and saw fluctuations throughout the period, peaking at approximately 63K in the week of November 13. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, beginning at 577K and reaching around 667K by the end of December.

Bradesco Seguros experienced varied download numbers, starting at about 22.6K in late September and hitting a high of nearly 28K by October 23. However, the downloads gradually decreased towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a steady trend, maintaining around 189K initially and slightly decreasing to 177K by the end of December.

Unimed Nacional saw a consistent download trend, starting with 23.6K and peaking at 28.5K in early October. The numbers tapered off to around 11.3K by the end of December. Active users began at 124K and showed a slight decline to 110K over the quarter.

Lastly, Unimed SP - Clientes began the quarter with around 10K downloads, peaking at 13.1K in early December, and ending the period at approximately 10.2K. Active users showed an upward trend, starting at 57.7K and reaching 65.9K by early December, before slightly declining to 58.9K.
