In the final quarter of 2023, the U.S. apparel app landscape witnessed varying performance trends among the leading applications. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data sheds light on the user engagement and popularity of these platforms.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a downward trend in downloads, starting strong with over 800K in late September but dipping to around 496K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 17M in late September and gradually declining to 14.1M by Christmas week.

Nike: Shoes, Apparel, Stories experienced fluctuations in downloads with a notable peak of over 350K in late November. The app's active users showcased a significant spike, jumping from 3.4M to over 6.1M in the week of November 20th, before settling at around 3.2M by the year's end.

GOAT – Sneakers & Apparel demonstrated an overall increase in downloads during the quarter, starting at roughly 81K and reaching over 156K in the festive week. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of approximately 2.5M in late November, eventually leveling out to 2.08M towards the close of the year.

DICK’S Sporting Goods downloads surged remarkably in late November, hitting an impressive 467K, a stark contrast to the 34K at the beginning of the quarter. The weekly active user count mirrored this growth, with a substantial increase to over 637K in the same period, before normalizing to 418K by the end of December.

Lastly, adidas saw its downloads climb from approximately 55K to a peak of 130K in the third week of November, followed by a decline to around 56K by Christmas. The active user base showed a peak of over 683K in the same November week, with a slight decrease to 519K by the quarter's end.
