In the fourth quarter of 2023, Nigeria's top shopping apps on iOS demonstrated diverse trends in user engagement and downloads, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Jumia Online Shopping saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 10.4K in late October before declining to around 4.7K by the end of December. Active users started at 37.5K in late September and reached a peak of around 48.8K in mid-November, before dipping to 35.8K at the end of the quarter.

Jiji Nigeria maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 2.4K and 3.8K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistently high, starting at 48.1K in late September and ending at approximately 45K in late December.

AliExpress - Shopping App experienced a moderate download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 2.3K to 3.5K. Active users showed slight fluctuations, starting at 18.1K in late September and dropping to around 15.3K by mid-December.

SHEIN - Shopping Online exhibited a notable spike in downloads in mid-November, reaching approximately 5.7K, followed by a decline to around 2.5K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at around 36.9K in mid-November and ending the quarter at approximately 31.8K.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 3.2K in mid-October before stabilizing at approximately 2.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a steady rise, starting at 11K in late September and reaching around 12.7K by the end of December.
