Top 5 Shopping Apps on iOS in Hungary Q4 2023

The fourth quarter of 2023 was marked by interesting trends in Hungary's top shopping apps on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, the following apps stood out: Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire, ABOUT YOU Outlet, Vinted: Sell vintage clothes, SHEIN - Shopping Online, and Clubcard Tesco Magyarország.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw consistent growth in both downloads and weekly active users (WAU). Downloads began at approximately 13K in late September and steadily increased to around 21.7K by the end of December. WAU followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at about 37.3K and peaking at 129K by the end of the quarter.

ABOUT YOU Outlet experienced a mixed performance in downloads. Starting at around 9.8K downloads in late September, the app saw a peak of approximately 11.2K in mid-November, before dropping significantly to 3.3K by the end of December. WAU showed a more stable trend, beginning at 60K and reaching nearly 99.4K in early December, followed by a slight decline to 90K by the end of the period.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes had fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter. The app started with about 6.7K downloads in late September, peaking at around 8.8K in late November, and then declining to approximately 4.3K by the end of December. WAU showed a slight decrease over the period, starting at 79.6K and ending at 70.7K.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting at around 6.2K in late September and ending with approximately 6K by the end of December, with a peak of 8.5K in early November. WAU showed a gradual decline over the quarter, starting at 154K and ending at around 133K.

Clubcard Tesco Magyarország demonstrated strong performance in both downloads and WAU. Downloads increased from approximately 2.8K in late September to around 8.4K by mid-December, before a slight drop to 4.9K by the end of the month. WAU showed consistent growth, beginning at 111K and peaking at 143.5K in mid-December, before slightly declining to 131K at the quarter's end.
