Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a high volume of downloads early in the quarter, starting with 1.3M in the last week of September and peaking at approximately 1.5M in early October. However, as the quarter progressed, downloads trended downward, finishing at over 1M in the final week of December. The weekly active users for Temu showed a more positive trajectory, growing from 7.5M to nearly 9.7M by the end of December.
Vinted: Sell vintage clothes also saw a decline in downloads, from 412K in late September to below 300K by the year's end. The app's weekly active users peaked at around 6.4M in mid-October, but this figure had dropped to approximately 5.6M by the last week of December.
SHEIN - Shopping Online displayed a similar pattern, with downloads decreasing from 359K to 323K over the quarter. The app's active user base started strong at over 10M, reaching a high of 11M by the end of October, before declining to around 8.7M active users in the last week of December.
Lidl Plus showed a mixed trend with a spike in downloads to 310K in early October, followed by a decrease to 212K by Christmas week. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase from 3.39M to a peak of nearly 3.9M in early December, before a significant drop to 3.15M by the quarter's end.
Lastly, the AliExpress Shopping App experienced an increase in downloads from 167K to 274K during the first week of November, but the numbers gradually fell to 178K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users saw a peak at over 6.2M in early November, with a slight decrease to 5.4M by the year's conclusion.
