Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Oceania Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five navigation apps on the iOS platform in Oceania demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends and usage patterns of these applications.

Google Maps remained a dominant player with weekly downloads fluctuating between 32K and 43K. The app saw a peak of approximately 43.5K downloads in the final week of December. Weekly active users for Google Maps showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, moving from about 2.9M in late September to around 2.95M in late December.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from about 25.4K at the end of September and reaching a high of roughly 35.7K in the final week of December. Active users for Waze also grew moderately, from 473K to approximately 470K over the same period.

Petrol Spy Australia showed varied download numbers, starting at 10.6K and ending the quarter at about 7.3K. The app’s active users saw a slight decline, beginning at 63K and concluding the quarter with around 61.7K users.

BPme had relatively stable download numbers, ranging from 4.8K to 5.2K throughout the quarter. Active users for BPme hovered around 10.1K to 11.8K, showing minor fluctuations but no significant spikes or drops.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced modest weekly revenue ranging from $800 to $1.2K. Downloads for Moovit varied between 3K and 6K, with active users seeing a decline from about 15.3K in late September to 11.7K by the end of December.
