In the fourth quarter of 2023, the leading navigation apps on iOS in France displayed varied performance trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the specifics of each app's journey through the quarter.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 60K to 83K, peaking at around 81K in the final week of December. Active users remained consistently high, starting the quarter with about 7.9M and ending with 7.7M, showing slight variations throughout the period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced notable fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 38K and reaching a peak of 57K in the last week of December. Active user numbers also saw an upward trend, beginning at 3.8M and closing the quarter at just over 4M.

Île-de-France Mobilités showed consistent weekly downloads ranging between approximately 15K to 29K, with a peak towards the end of December at around 22K. Active users followed a similar steady pattern, with numbers hovering around 150K to 165K throughout the quarter.

Bonjour RATP had stable weekly downloads, starting at about 17K and ending at 21K. Active users exhibited a slight decline from approximately 187K at the beginning of the quarter to 152K by the end of December.

Citymapper: All Live Transit demonstrated consistent download activity, ranging from 11K to 14K weekly, with a notable increase to around 18K in the final week of December. Active users remained stable around the 280K mark for most of the quarter, with a dip to 216K in the last week.
