As the year wrapped up, the Music/Rhythm category on iOS in Europe showed interesting trends across the top applications. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at how these apps performed in the fourth quarter of 2023.

HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! experienced fluctuating revenues, peaking at $33K in early October and dipping to $20K by year's end. The app's downloads remained steady, with a notable spike to 12K in the last week of December. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase, reaching 157K by the close of the quarter.

Beatstar also had a dynamic quarter, with revenues witnessing a sharp rise to $28K in the final week of December. Downloads surged to 31K, the highest in the quarter, during the same period. The app's active users peaked at 180K in the last week, indicating a strong finish to the year.

For Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game, revenues saw a steady increase, ending the quarter at $21K. The game's downloads had an impressive jump, nearly tripling to 296K in the final week of December. The weekly active users reflected significant growth, with the number more than doubling from the start of the quarter to 1.3M active users.

Country Star, a newer entrant, had modest revenues peaking at $11K in late September and then stabilizing around $5K by the end of December. Downloads started strong at 13K but saw a decline to 4K by the quarter's end. The active user base showed a slight dip, settling at 28K.

Lastly, Just Dance Now had a revenue trend that rose towards the end of the quarter, reaching over $10K. The game's download numbers doubled to 28K in the last week, and active users more than doubled to almost 40K, indicating a strong holiday performance.
