Q4 2023 Performance of Top Lifestyle Apps on iOS in Australia

As the fourth quarter of 2023 wraps up, we at Sensor Tower have observed interesting trends among the top Lifestyle applications for iOS users in Australia. Here's a snapshot of how these apps have fared over the past three months.

Pinterest saw its downloads fluctuate, starting at around 13K in late September and dipping to approximately 11K in mid-November. However, the app experienced a significant surge towards the end of December, reaching nearly 18K downloads. Weekly active users peaked at about 4.6M in mid-October and saw a general declining trend to close the quarter at around 4.5M.

Google Home also experienced fluctuations in downloads, beginning at roughly 11K and dropping to 9K in mid-October. The app's downloads rebounded and notably doubled to around 27K by Christmas. The weekly active users showed a mixed trend, with a notable spike in early October at over 233K, a dip in mid-October to approximately 203K, and a rebound to around 229K by the end of December.

For realestate.com.au - Property, the app's revenue showed a downward trend from 14K USD at the start of the quarter to about 4.7K USD by the end. Downloads began at around 10K, saw a low of 7K in mid-December, and slightly recovered to 8K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users hit a high of around 366K in mid-October and late October but ended the quarter with a lower figure of approximately 316K.

The Hinge Dating App: Match & Date showed a strong revenue presence with figures mostly hovering around the 130K-140K USD mark, with a peak at about 145K USD in early December. Downloads varied, starting at close to 9K, dropping to around 7.4K in late November, and ending the quarter at roughly 8.7K. Active weekly users maintained a relatively stable trend, starting at 161K and reaching a high of 175K in late November, before closing the quarter at around 173K.

Lastly, MYER one showed a consistent increase in downloads from 6K at the beginning of the quarter to over 12K by Christmas. Its weekly active users similarly increased from approximately 37K to over 52K by the end of December.
