Q4 2023 Performance of Top Insurance Apps on iOS in France

In the fourth quarter of 2023, France's insurance app landscape on iOS showcased varying trends in user engagement and downloads. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these apps fared during this period.

Mon AXA experienced a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at 11K in early December before dipping to 6.5K towards the end of the month. Weekly active users steadily grew from 181K to 226K in mid-December, then slightly declined to 213K.

The carte Vitale app, which launched in late October, saw an initial surge in downloads to 9.8K in the first full week of availability. However, downloads gradually decreased over the quarter, ending at 2K by Christmas week.

MAIF - Assurances auto, maison downloads spiked to 21K in the third week of November, a significant increase from the 1.7K at the quarter's start. Weekly active users echoed this trend with a jump to 24K in the same week, then normalized to around 6K by the close of the quarter.

e-constat auto downloads remained consistent, ranging between 2.1K and 3.7K throughout the quarter. Its weekly active users saw a modest peak of 6.8K in early November but ended the quarter at 5K.

Lastly, the MACIF app downloads hovered around 3K for most of the quarter, with a slight increase to 3.7K in late November. The weekly active users started at approximately 23K but saw a slight decrease, stabilizing around 20.7K by the end of December.
