In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top finance applications on iOS in Ghana exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. The data presented here comes from Sensor Tower, offering deeper insights into the finance app market.

MTN MoMo saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at around 5.7K in the week of December 4. The app's downloads started at 5.4K in late September and gradually declined to 3.3K by the end of December. Despite this, active users showed a steady increase from 53.4K in late September to a peak of approximately 61K in mid-December, before settling at 57.4K by the end of the quarter.

Fido Solutions experienced a decrease in weekly downloads throughout Q4. Starting strong with 7.7K downloads in late September, the app's downloads dropped to 2.5K by the end of December.

GCB Mobile App, which was released in mid-September, showed a moderate performance with downloads peaking at 8K in its initial week. The downloads then fluctuated, reaching a high of 4.3K in the week of December 11, and closing the quarter with 3.9K downloads.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter. Starting with 1.9K downloads in late September, the app saw a slight increase, peaking at 2.8K in the week of October 23, and ending the quarter with 2K downloads. Active users for Binance also showed a stable pattern, starting at 46.6K and reaching 49.9K by the end of December.

Fidelity Bank Ghana displayed consistent download numbers, beginning the quarter with 1.6K downloads and maintaining a steady rate around 1.5K, before a slight drop to 1.2K in the last week of December.
