Q4 2023 Performance of Top Dating Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the final quarter of 2023, Latin America's iOS platform saw interesting trends in the dating app market. The data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the top five dating applications in the region.

Tinder: Chat, Dating & Friends maintained its lead with weekly revenues peaking at nearly $481K. Downloads for Tinder showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, with figures reaching over 81K in the last week of December. Weekly active users saw a slight dip from 1.74M to 1.71M during the quarter.

Bumble: Dating & Friends App also showed a consistent performance with revenues hovering around the $200K mark, and a notable spike to $228K mid-quarter. Downloads saw a high of over 32K in late October, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with a slight increase to 315K.

Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends experienced steady revenues, with a notable rise to $57K in the week leading up to Christmas. Downloads remained consistent with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter, and weekly active users demonstrated growth, reaching over 627K in the last week of December.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative had a different trajectory with lower revenue figures, starting the quarter at $3.6K and ending at $1.2K. Downloads peaked at over 40K in mid-November but decreased to around 12K by the end of December. Weekly active users hit a high of 142K mid-quarter before dropping to 119K.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat saw revenues fluctuating, with a year-end high of over $105K. Downloads experienced a significant increase, finishing the quarter with over 21K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the year with 381K.
