Q4 2023 Performance of Top Auto Apps on iOS in Australia

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the iOS Auto applications in Australia demonstrated varying trends in downloads and user engagement. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of these top apps.

Petrol Spy Australia experienced a decrease in downloads from 10K in the last week of September to approximately 7.6K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a decline from around 59K to 60K, indicating a slight rebound in the final week.

BPme showed a relatively stable pattern in downloads, starting at close to 5K and ending the quarter at around 4.2K. Active users peaked at 11K in early October, with a modest drop to 10.5K by the quarter's end.

The NSW FuelCheck app saw downloads dip from 3.4K to around 2.1K. Weekly active users experienced fluctuations, with an initial decrease from 36K to 33K, followed by an increase towards the quarter's end.

Tesla's app downloads remained below 2.5K for the quarter, with a peak of 2.4K in the last week of September. Active users showed an upward trend, starting at 45.9K and growing to 52.3K in the final week.

Fuel Map Australia was the only app in this analysis with reported revenue, earning between $24 and $48 weekly throughout the quarter. Downloads started at around 3K and dipped to 2K, while active users decreased from 16.3K to just under 14K.
