In the fourth quarter of 2023, Europe's iOS platform saw fluctuating user engagement across the top five apparel applications. Sensor Tower's data gives us a closer look at these trends, revealing the performance of each app in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes experienced a peak in downloads in late October, reaching nearly 481K. However, a gradual decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, with the last week of December registering close to 298K downloads. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, starting strong at around 6M in late September and dipping to approximately 5.6M by the year's end.

SHEIN - Shopping Online also saw its highest number of downloads in late October, with a notable 492K, but this figure decreased to about 323K by the final week of December. The app's active users peaked at over 11M in the last week of October, yet this number decreased to just over 8.7M by the close of Q4.

ZARA showed a remarkable spike in downloads during the third week of November, with an impressive 535K downloads, a significant increase from approximately 176K the previous week. The app's active users reached a high of around 1.8M in the same week, but this decreased to around 1.2M by the end of December.

For H&M - we love fashion, downloads were relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a peak at 136K in late October and a rise to around 148K in the final week of the year. The app's weekly active users experienced a surge in the third week of November, reaching nearly 2.8M, but ended the quarter with around 2M active users.

Zalando – Online fashion observed its highest downloads and active users in the third week of November, with over 201K downloads and a peak of about 3.1M active users. However, by December's end, the downloads slightly increased from the previous week to around 141K, with the active users settling close to 2.2M.
