Q4 2023 Performance of Top Android Shopping Apps in Latin America

Latin America's Android users continued to engage with top shopping apps during the fourth quarter of 2023. With data sourced from Sensor Tower, we can observe the performance trends of these popular applications.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw its downloads peak in late October with 1.95M before a gradual decline to 924K by the year's end. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, initially growing to a high of 7.07M in late November and then tapering off to 6.66M by the last week of December.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced its highest downloads in mid-October at 2.09M, but the numbers declined to 653K by Christmas week. The app's active users saw a high of 27.51M at the end of October, which decreased to 21.90M during the festive period.

For Mercado Libre: Compras online, the downloads reached their peak in mid-November with 1.25M, but fell to 847K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users showed a rise to 37.01M in the third week of November, before dropping slightly to 34.44M by the close of Q4.

Shopee: 15.3 Dia do Consumidor had fluctuating download figures, with the highest at 1.21M in early November, and ending the quarter at 371K. The app's weekly active user count hit a peak of 24.95M in late November and saw a modest decline to 22.81M by the last week of December.

Lastly, Amazon Shopping demonstrated a strong revenue trend throughout the quarter, starting with $50K and reaching up to $93K in the second week of December, before closing at $75K. Downloads for Amazon Shopping surged to 1.56M in the third week of November, followed by a decrease to 341K by Christmas. The app maintained a robust active user base, peaking at 11.01M in late November and stabilizing at around 9.48M towards the end of the year.
