JUMIA Online Shopping from Nigeria-based JUMIA saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Starting strong with around 27K downloads in late September, it experienced a peak of approximately 33.6K by the end of October. However, downloads gradually declined towards the end of the year, closing at about 13K in the last week of December. Active user numbers for the app also mirrored this trend, peaking at nearly 290K in early November before settling at around 189K in the final week of December.
Kilimall - Affordable Shopping, a homegrown app from Kenya, maintained a relatively stable download rate. Weekly downloads ranged from 11K to 23K, with a peak in late October. Active users saw a slight increase, reaching a high of approximately 210K at the end of October and then stabilizing around 181K by the end of December.
Jiji Kenya: Buy & Sell Online had a varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, starting at around 16K in late September and dropping to approximately 3.4K by the last week of December. Active users showed a declining trend, from about 151K in late September to around 95K by the end of December.

Active users for the app were relatively high, peaking at around 553K in the last week of December, showing a consistent user engagement throughout the quarter.
Copia App, another Kenyan app, showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 8K in late September and reaching approximately 13K in mid-November, before slightly dropping to around 8.7K by the end of December. Active user numbers for Copia App rose steadily, peaking at around 110K in mid-November and closing the quarter at about 109K.
