Q4 2023 Recap: Top Shopping Apps on Android in France

In the final quarter of 2023, the French Android market saw notable activity among the top shopping apps. Sensor Tower's data provides a comprehensive overview of these apps' performances, focusing on downloads and weekly active users since all featured apps reported zero revenue.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a fluctuating download trend in Q4, starting at 125K in late September and peaking at around 165K in mid-October, followed by a gradual decrease to 102K by the year's end. Despite this, its weekly active users steadily increased from 1.1M to 1.3M, indicating a growing user base.

For SHEIN-Shopping Online, downloads peaked at 120K in mid-October but then took a sharp decline to 33K by Christmas. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, soaring to 1.5M in late October and then falling to 1.1M by the close of the quarter.

Vinted - Buy and sell clothes saw its downloads hover around 39K to 45K in early Q4, before declining to 36K towards the end of December. Weekly active users reached a high of 1.7M in late October but experienced a dip to 1.4M by the quarter's end.

Mon E.Leclerc downloads ranged from 35K to 46K throughout the quarter, with a slight increase in the first half of Q4 and a dip in the second half. The app's weekly active users showed more stability, remaining between 429K and 460K.

Lastly, Lidl Plus downloads initially fluctuated between 34K and 32K, with a notable spike to 53K in late November. Weekly active users saw a steady rise from 596K to 709K by early December, but this trend reversed, dropping to 565K by the quarter's conclusion.
