Q4 2023 Performance of Top Shopping Apps on Android in Brazil

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Brazil's Android users showed a keen interest in shopping applications, with notable trends in downloads and user engagement. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of these apps during this period.

Shopee: 15.3 Dia do Consumidor saw a peak in downloads at 1.2M in early November, followed by a decline to 372K by the end of December. Weekly active users reached a high of 24.7M in early November, with a dip to 22.8M by the quarter's end.

Mercado Libre: Compras online witnessed a steady increase in downloads, hitting a high of 575K in mid-November, before tapering off to 338K by the close of December. The app's weekly active users exhibited a peak of 17.9M in the same month, ending the quarter at just under 16M.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a significant surge in downloads in mid-October at 903K, but saw a gradual decrease to 131K by December's end. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 14.8M in late October and falling to 10.6M by the end of the quarter.

Amazon Shopping had a notable jump in downloads in late October, reaching over 1M, followed by a decline to 148K by the end of December. Revenue showed a steady pattern with slight fluctuations, peaking at 52K in early December. Weekly active users saw their highest at 5M in late November, with a slight decrease to 4.1M by the quarter's end.

AliExpress, while not generating revenue, maintained a consistent download rate with a small peak of 246K in early October, ending the quarter with 98K downloads. Weekly active users hit a high of 12.7M in early November, concluding the quarter with 10.3M.
