Throughout Q4 2023, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in South America demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual from Porto Seguro saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 20.8K in late September and peaking at approximately 49.7K in mid-November. Active users also rose steadily from 396.7K to 462.4K by the end of December.

Bradesco Seguros experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, with a high of about 20K in early November and a low of around 10.9K by late December. Active users for this app showed a slight decline, starting at 138K and dropping to 127K by the end of the quarter.

Unimed Nacional also exhibited varied weekly download numbers, reaching a peak of 19.1K in early October and a low of 9.1K in the last week of December. The active user base saw a gradual decline from 89.2K to 77.8K over the same period.

Unimed SP - Clientes showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 9.2K to 12.5K throughout the quarter. The app's active users grew from 57.8K to 65.9K by early December, before slightly dipping to 58.9K at the end of the month.

Lastly, Bradesco Saúde saw weekly downloads peaking at 11.4K in early December and declining to 6.2K by the end of the month. Active users fluctuated, starting at 76K in late September and dropping to 59.5K by the end of December.
