Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Brazil: Q4 2023 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Brazil. Below, we delve into the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 49.5K in mid-November. The app's active user base also saw significant growth, rising from approximately 397K at the start of the quarter to nearly 462K by the end of December.

Bradesco Seguros maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 10.9K and 20K. The active users for this app remained relatively stable, starting at 138K and ending the quarter at around 127K.

Unimed Nacional saw a decline in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads decreased from 19.1K at the beginning of October to just over 9K by the end of December. Similarly, active users dropped from approximately 89K to about 77.8K over the same period.

Unimed SP - Clientes experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 12.5K in early December. The active user count also grew, rising from around 57.8K at the end of September to nearly 66K by the close of the quarter.

Bradesco Saúde had moderate download numbers, peaking at approximately 11.4K in early December. However, the active user base showed a downward trend, decreasing from 76K at the start of the quarter to about 59.5K by the end of December.
