In Q4 2023, the top 5 finance apps on the Android platform in Qatar showcased interesting trends in downloads and active users. Below is an overview of their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Ooredoo Money experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 4.2K in the week of October 30. Active users for the app showed a slight overall decline from 17.6K in late September to around 16.4K by the end of December, despite a peak of 18.7K at the end of October.

iPay saw a notable decrease in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting strong with 5.7K in the week of October 23 but dropping to approximately 1.4K by the last week of December.

CBQ Mobile showed a significant initial increase in downloads, peaking at nearly 5K in early October. However, this number tapered off to approximately 1.7K by the last week of December. Active user metrics also followed a similar trend, beginning at 18.4K in late September and peaking at 22.4K in early October before settling at around 16.5K by the end of the quarter.

Google Wallet maintained relatively stable download numbers, ranging from 2.5K in early October to 1.6K in mid-December. Active users showed a consistent trend, starting at 7.9K in late September and ending at approximately 8.2K by the end of December, with a peak of 8.6K in early December.

QIB Mobile experienced a steady increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, starting at 1K in late September and peaking at 2.2K in the week of December 4.
