Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Spain for Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 finance apps on the Android platform in Spain exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waylet. Pagos con el móvil saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 32K in late September and peaking at 64.5K in mid-November before dropping to approximately 24.5K by the end of December. Active users for the app also showed a positive trend, starting at 306K and reaching a high of 372.9K in mid-November, closing the quarter at 322.7K.

Google Wallet experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, beginning with 21.3K in late September and peaking at 57.2K in mid-December. Active users also increased steadily, starting at 331K and reaching a peak of 415.8K in mid-December, before ending the quarter at 381.8K.

Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade showed consistent weekly download numbers, ranging from 23.5K to 39.4K. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, starting at 296.3K in late September and ending the quarter at 336.7K.

Ruralvía - Banca digital had a significant spike in weekly downloads, particularly in early December, where downloads surged to 86.3K. Active users also increased, beginning at 477.1K and peaking at 667.5K in mid-December, before ending the quarter at 572.8K.

BBVA Spain | Online Banking maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 14.8K and 28.1K. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 2.36M in late September and ending at 2.26M in December.
