Q4 2023 Performance Report: Top Dating Apps on Android in Europe

As the year 2023 came to a close, the dating scene on Android devices in Europe saw some interesting trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's how the top dating applications performed in the fourth quarter.

Tinder Dating app. Meet People saw its revenue fluctuating, ending the quarter with around $1.4M in the final week, a slight decrease from the beginning of the quarter. Downloads had a slight downward trend, with 145K in the last week of December, compared to approximately 140K at the end of September. Weekly active users started at nearly 6M but dipped to around 5.6M by the year's end.

Badoo: Dating. Chat. Meet. experienced a revenue increase in the final weeks of December, reaching nearly $465K. Downloads remained fairly steady, with a slight increase to 112K in the last week of December. The app's weekly active users saw a decline from 4.1M to 3.9M over the quarter.

The performance of OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative in terms of revenue showed growth, ending at around $53K in the last week. Downloads peaked in mid-November with 111K but ended the quarter with a strong 111K. Weekly active users increased from 474K to 527K, suggesting a growing user base.

Azar - video chat & livestream also demonstrated an upward trend in revenue, with the last week hitting $151K. Downloads saw a significant rise in November, reaching 98K, and ended the quarter on a high note with 96K. Active users were on the rise, starting at 644K and reaching 706K by the end of December.

Lastly, Bumble: Dating App & Friends showed relatively stable revenue, with around $549K in the last week of December. Downloads experienced a noticeable increase during the quarter, ending at 90K. However, weekly active users saw a slight decline, from 2M in late September to just under 1.9M by the close of the quarter.
