In the fourth quarter of 2023, the European auto app market experienced varied trends across leading Android applications. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the download figures, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular apps.

AutoScout24: Buy & sell cars, published by AutoScout24 GmbH, saw its downloads fluctuating, peaking at around 66K in early October before dipping to 55K by the end of December. The app's revenue followed a downward trend, starting at approximately $3K in the last week of September and descending to about $1.5K by Christmas. Meanwhile, weekly active users started strong at 590K but showed a slight decline, rounding off at 579K in the final week of December.

For Дром Авто, while there was no reported revenue, downloads and active users presented a noteworthy pattern. Downloads experienced a high of 69K in late October, only to fall to approximately 38K by year's end. Active users initially stood at a robust 798K, but this figure decreased to around 618K over the quarter.

Another app by the same publisher, Билеты ПДД 2024 и Экзамен ПДД, also had its revenue data at zero. It kicked off the quarter with downloads at 60K and saw a decrease to 36K by December 25th. Active users began at an impressive 850K but saw a reduction to approximately 559K by the end of the quarter.

Car Scanner ELM OBD2 from publisher 0vZ, headquartered in Russia, showed a positive revenue trend, starting from nearly $5K and rising to over $5.8K towards the quarter's end. Downloads demonstrated growth, starting at 40K and reaching a peak of 51K in the week of December 18th. The app's active users also saw an increase from 109K to 123K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, the Shell app, with no revenue reported, had downloads beginning at 36K and declining to 29K by the quarter's close. The weekly active users exhibited a slight decrease, starting at 262K and ending at 256K.
