Top 5 Travel Apps Performance in Kuwait - Q3 2023

During the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 travel applications in Kuwait showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a peak in weekly downloads early in the quarter, reaching around 3.2K in the week of August 14. However, downloads decreased to approximately 2.1K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed an overall upward trend, increasing from about 75K in late June to over 81K at the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.7K in late June and dropping to about 1.6K by the end of September. Despite the drop in downloads, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating around 40K throughout the quarter.

Jazeera Airways had a significant spike in weekly downloads, peaking at over 12K in the week of July 31 before dropping to around 1.4K by the end of September. The number of weekly active users mirrored this trend, rising to about 33K in late July and then stabilizing around 24K by the end of the quarter.

Wego Flights & Hotels Booking maintained a consistent weekly download rate, hovering around 5K in early July and dropping slightly to approximately 2.6K by late September. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at around 39K in late June and ending at about 35K in September.

Airalo: eSIM Travel & Internet saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.2K in late June and falling to around 975 by the end of September. Weekly active users also decreased, from about 3K in late June to around 1.7K by the end of the quarter.
