Top 5 Travel Apps Performance in Ireland Q3 2023

Throughout Q3 2023, Ireland's top travel apps demonstrated a range of performance trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

TFI Live from National Transport Authority saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 14K in late June and experiencing a slight dip to approximately 9.6K by the end of August. The app's weekly active users showed a steady increase, starting at approximately 117K and climbing to 150K by the close of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride by Uber Technologies, Inc. had fluctuating weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at around 9.8K and ending at 8.5K. Active users, however, displayed a more consistent upward trend, starting at 245K and peaking at around 293K in mid-September.

Ryanair from Ryanair Ltd. experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 9.7K in late June and decreasing to approximately 7.2K by the end of September. The active user base showed minor fluctuations, peaking at around 32K in mid-August before stabilizing at approximately 28K by the end of the quarter.

Leap Top Up also by National Transport Authority, exhibited a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at 5.1K in late June and reaching nearly 9.9K by mid-September. Active users followed a positive trend, growing from around 110K in late June to approximately 125K by mid-September.

FREENOW - Taxi and more from Intelligent Apps GmbH displayed a mixed trend in weekly downloads, starting at about 7.2K in late June, dipping mid-quarter, and then recovering to approximately 6.7K by the end of September. Active users showed a slight decline from 23K in late June to around 21.9K by the end of September.
