In Q3 2023, the performance of the top 5 shopping applications in Nigeria on a unified platform showcased notable trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how Jumia Online Shopping, AliExpress Shopping App, Alibaba.com, SHEIN - Shopping Online, and Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire performed.

Jumia Online Shopping saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 50K in the last week of September. Weekly active users had fluctuations, starting at 547K at the end of June and ending at 523K by the last week of September.

The AliExpress Shopping App experienced a decline in weekly downloads, from 17.5K in late June to 9.4K by the end of September. However, weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 161K to 181K over the same period.
