Top 5 Shopping Apps Performance in Kuwait Q3 2023

During the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 shopping apps in Kuwait exhibited varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a steady presence in Kuwait. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at approximately 23.9K at the end of June and experiencing a low of around 12.9K by the end of September. Active users hovered around the 200K mark, peaking at about 220K in mid-September before dipping to 206K by the end of the quarter.

The AliExpress Shopping App saw a general increase in weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K in late June and reaching a peak of 6.8K by the end of August. Active users also grew steadily, starting from 55.8K and climbing to 68.4K in August, with a slight decline to 66.7K by the end of September.

Xcite Online Shopping experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from 4.7K to 5.9K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent as well, starting at 32.1K and ending the quarter slightly lower at 29.1K.

Alibaba.com showed a notable peak in weekly downloads of 6.5K in early July, followed by a gradual decline to around 4K by the end of September. Active users displayed a consistent pattern, starting at 81.6K and ending the quarter at 78.3K after peaking at 84.5K in early July.

Lastly, Chicpoint - Fashion shopping demonstrated a growth in weekly downloads, from 3.3K in late June to a peak of 5.4K in late August. Active users grew from 12.3K at the end of June to a peak of 15.8K in early September before ending the quarter at 14.9K.
