In the third quarter of 2023, the top five shopping apps in Egypt exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Alibaba.com witnessed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 133K in early September before slightly declining to 109K by the end of the month. The app's weekly active users also showed a positive trend, rising from about 541K at the start of the quarter to just over 653K by the end of September.

Amazon Shopping experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $849 in the last week of September. Weekly downloads saw a peak of approximately 121K in early September, followed by a decline to about 76K by the end of the month. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at around 1.74M and ending the quarter at approximately 1.78M.

Kenzz, a new entrant, showed remarkable growth in downloads, starting from just 327 in late June and reaching a peak of approximately 141K in mid-September. The app's active users also saw significant growth, starting from 227 and peaking at around 204K by mid-September.

noon Shopping, Food, Grocery showed consistent growth in downloads, peaking at about 79K in mid-September before seeing a slight decline to approximately 56K by the end of the month. The app's active users increased steadily, starting at around 713K and ending the quarter at approximately 834K.

SHEIN - Shopping Online had a steady performance in downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 39K and 54K throughout the quarter. Active users also showed a positive trend, rising from around 440K at the start of the quarter to approximately 507K by the end of September.
