In the third quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 shopping applications in Germany on a unified platform (iOS and Android) revealed significant trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a consistent rise in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads started at 373K at the end of June and peaked at 487K by the end of September. Weekly active users also showed a steady increase, growing from 1.31M in late June to 2.51M by the end of September.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced fluctuations in its performance metrics. Downloads fluctuated between 116K and 139K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.44M to 1.55M, with a slight dip in mid-September to around 1.38M.

Kleinanzeigen - without eBay maintained a steady performance in downloads, ranging from 85K to 110K. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 5.60M in late June and reaching about 5.84M by the end of September.
