In the third quarter of 2023, the top five shopping applications in Chile demonstrated diverse trends in their weekly downloads and active user metrics. Here's a closer look at the performance of SHEIN - Shopping Online, Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire, AliExpress - Shopping App, Shopee CL: 9.9 Día de Compras, and Ripley: Compras Online.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 42K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately 68.5K by mid-September. The app maintained a solid base of weekly active users, fluctuating between 3.1M and 2.9M throughout the quarter.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a dramatic rise in weekly downloads, beginning with 30.5K in late June and reaching a high of 150.5K by mid-September. The number of weekly active users also surged significantly, from around 76.6K to over 363K by the end of the quarter.

AliExpress - Shopping App displayed consistent performance, with weekly downloads ranging from 37.3K to 60.8K. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 1M mark and peaking at approximately 1.15M in late September.

Shopee CL: 9.9 Día de Compras showed steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 37.3K and 44.2K. The app's weekly active users remained strong, averaging around 480K, with a slight increase towards the end of September, reaching about 491K.

Ripley: Compras Online had a more volatile trend in weekly downloads, starting at 11.1K in late June and peaking at 104.7K in mid-August. The app's weekly active users saw significant growth, starting from 35.2K and reaching a high of 178K by the end of August, before stabilizing around 147K in late September.
