Top 5 Navigation Apps in Panama Q3 2023: Performance Insights

The third quarter of 2023 saw notable trends among the top 5 navigation apps in Panama. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting at around 1.9K downloads in late June, it peaked at 2.8K in mid-September before ending the quarter with approximately 2K downloads. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 125K to 128K throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 6K in late June and reaching a peak of 7.3K in early September. Weekly active users also showed growth, moving from approximately 209K to 216K by mid-September.

Moovit: All Transit Options saw consistent weekly downloads, starting at 1.6K in late June and peaking at 2.1K in early September. The app’s weekly revenue showed a gradual increase, reaching up to $95 by early September. Weekly active users grew from around 12.4K to 14K throughout the quarter.

MiBus Maps Panamá had a decline in downloads, starting at 487 in late June and dropping to 123 by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw a slight decrease, from approximately 8.2K to 6.8K over the quarter.

Citymapper: All Live Transit maintained a relatively stable download rate, from 165 in late June to 221 by the end of September. Weekly revenue peaked at $19 in mid-August. Weekly active users increased from around 263 to 344 over the same period.
