In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation apps in Oman showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, which peaked at 9.6K in mid-August before stabilizing around 6K to 7K towards the end of September. Active users showed a steady decline from approximately 408K at the beginning of July to around 388K by the end of September.

Qibla Finder Compass 100% saw its weekly revenue peak at $846 in late July, with a notable dip to $455 in mid-September. Downloads peaked at 3.2K in late July but declined to around 1.2K by the end of September. Active users increased to about 5.4K in early August, then stabilized around 3.3K by the end of the quarter.

RTA Smart Drive maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 810 in mid-August. Active users also saw a steady rise, reaching approximately 2.4K in mid-August before slightly declining to around 2K by the end of September.
