In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation apps in Nigeria exhibited varied performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here, we break down the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app.

Google Maps saw consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 16K and peaking at 19K towards the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, starting at approximately 376K and ending at about 414K.

LagosRide experienced a steady download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 1.2K downloads per week. Notably, the week of September 25 saw a slight increase to 1.2K downloads.

The Bolt Driver App had a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads ranging from 2.6K to 6.4K. Active users showed a downward trend from 105K at the beginning of the quarter to around 90K by the end.

GPS Live Navigation maintained a stable performance with weekly downloads hovering around 500. A minor revenue was recorded in the last two weeks of September, amounting to $10 and $5, respectively. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 5.5K.
