In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation apps in Latin America showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps continued to dominate with impressive weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 450K in mid-September. Weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating around 16M to 17M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also maintained strong traction, with weekly downloads consistently above 380K, reaching a high of about 423K in late July. Active users displayed a steady increase, averaging around 11M, peaking at nearly 11.4M in early September.

Moovit: All Transit Options showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $14K in early September. Weekly downloads were stable, averaging around 270K, while active users saw a gradual rise, reaching about 6.4M in mid-September.
