Top 5 Insurance Apps Performance in Nigeria Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw varying trends in the performance of the top 5 insurance apps in Nigeria. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, offers insights into weekly downloads and revenue metrics, reflecting the popularity and user engagement of these apps.

Reliance Care experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting at 2.5K at the end of June, downloads peaked at nearly 3K in the first week of July before seeing a gradual decline. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to approximately 1.6K. Throughout the quarter, the app did not generate any revenue.

Sanlam Nigeria showed a more consistent performance in terms of weekly downloads. Beginning with 1.5K in late June, downloads increased, reaching a high of around 2.5K in mid-September. Like Reliance Care, Sanlam Nigeria did not report any revenue during this period.

MyAXA Plus saw a steady increase in weekly downloads from late June to early July, peaking at 1.8K. However, this was followed by a varied trend, with downloads fluctuating and eventually settling at approximately 1.1K by the end of September. The app did not generate any revenue throughout Q3.

Hygeia Mobile had the least number of downloads among the top 5, starting with 272 in late June. Downloads saw minor fluctuations, peaking at 613 in early July before settling at around 270 by the end of September. No revenue was reported for this app during the quarter.

Bastion Mobile App also saw minimal fluctuations in downloads. Starting at 208 in late June, the app experienced a peak of 592 downloads at the end of July. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to 128. Similar to the other apps, Bastion Mobile App did not report any revenue.
