Top 5 Insurance Apps Performance in Costa Rica Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 has seen some interesting trends in the performance of insurance applications in Costa Rica across both iOS and Android platforms. Here’s a closer look at the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

INS 24/7 from INS Servicios had fluctuating download numbers. Starting the quarter with 774 downloads in the last week of June, the app saw a peak of approximately 1.6K downloads in the first week of July. However, the downloads dipped to around 624 by the end of August, before slightly rising to 816 in the last week of September.

Club MediSmart by Baum Digital showed a significant spike in downloads in the last week of August, reaching 2.6K. This was followed by a notable drop to 660 downloads in the first week of September, and a further decrease to 434 by the end of the quarter.

QMóvil CR from Quálitas Compañia de Seguros experienced a more stable download pattern. The app started with 145 downloads in the last week of June and saw a gradual increase, peaking at 217 in mid-August. The quarter ended with downloads at around 170.

Marsh Asprose from Asprose Corredora de Seguros also demonstrated a stable trend in downloads. Starting with 128 downloads at the end of June, the app maintained a consistent range, peaking slightly at 150 in the third week of August, and ending the quarter with 114 downloads.

ASSA Compañía de Seguros from ASSA Compañía de Seguros, S.A. had a low but steady increase in downloads. Beginning the quarter with 58 downloads, the app saw a gradual rise, hitting 210 downloads by the last week of September.
