Top 5 Finance Apps Performance in Oceania Q3 2023

During the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 finance applications in Oceania demonstrated varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s an in-depth look at the trends observed for each app.

Australian Taxation Office saw its weekly downloads peak at 83K in early July before gradually declining to around 12K by the end of September. Active users also showed a sharp increase at the beginning of the quarter, reaching approximately 153K in the first week of July, then stabilizing around 87K towards the end of September.

CommBank experienced consistent weekly download numbers, fluctuating between 23K and 34K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers remained robust, starting at 3.8M and ending the quarter with just under 3.9M.

PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from 23K to 29K. Its active user base hovered around 600K for most of the quarter, peaking at 614K in late August.
