In Q3 2023, the top five auto applications in the United States exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

CARFAX - Shop New & Used Cars saw consistent revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at around $115K in the week of July 3. Downloads were highest in the week of July 31, reaching approximately 46K, while weekly active users peaked at around 121K in mid-August.

Aceable – Driving School App experienced a decline in revenue over the quarter, starting at around $72K in late June and ending at approximately $56K in late September. Downloads also trended downward, peaking at about 7.7K in early July and dropping to around 5.3K by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from approximately 39K to 36K.

Zutobi: DMV Practice Test maintained relatively stable revenue, hovering around $50K throughout the quarter.
