The third quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends among the top 5 travel apps in the Dominican Republic on the iOS platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals key insights about their performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 4.7K in the week of July 24. Weekly active users saw a gradual rise from 84.1K at the beginning of the quarter to around 89K by the end of September.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a fluctuating download pattern, starting at 4.2K in late June and ending at 3.3K by the last week of September. Active users also demonstrated a downward trend, decreasing from 72.1K at the start of the quarter to 62.8K by the end.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a relatively stable download rate, with numbers hovering around 2K weekly. Active users saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, ending at approximately 45.9K.
