Google Maps exhibited a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting strong with about 11.9K at the end of June and gradually decreasing to 6.3K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a high level of weekly active users, peaking at around 368K in mid-July and ending the quarter at approximately 344K.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent performance in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 3.8K to 4.5K through most of the quarter, slightly dipping to around 2.7K towards the end of September. The app’s weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 191K and 209K throughout the quarter.
Shell: Fuel & Rewards experienced a steady trend in weekly downloads, generally hovering around the 1K mark but spiked to 1.7K in the last week of September. Weekly active users for the app showed a slight increase, starting at 5.9K in late June and rising to approximately 6.8K by the end of September.
Moovit: All Transit Options had stable weekly download numbers, averaging around 1K with a peak of 1.3K in early September. The app also saw a gradual increase in weekly active users, from about 6.5K in late June to 7.4K by the end of September. Revenue for the app showed a notable increase, peaking at $123 in mid-September.
Finally, Hopp - Go Further showed significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in early September when downloads surged to 2.6K. However, this number decreased to 403 by the end of the month. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at around 2.7K in early September before dropping to 2.1K by the end of the quarter.
