In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 insurance apps on the iOS platform in Nigeria showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and other metrics, derived from Sensor Tower data.

Reliance Care experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at 445 downloads in the last week of June, the app saw a consistent decrease, ending the quarter with 294 downloads in the final week of September.

MyAXA Plus demonstrated a sharp increase in weekly downloads. The app started with 137 downloads in the week of June 26, and peaked at 386 downloads by the end of September. The most notable jumps occurred in the last two weeks of the quarter.

Sanlam Nigeria also saw a significant rise in weekly downloads. Beginning with 107 downloads in late June, it climbed steadily to reach 370 downloads in the last week of September.

SimpleLife by Heirs had a fluctuating yet generally upward trend in downloads. From 40 downloads in the week of June 26, it peaked at 300 downloads by the end of the quarter, with notable increases in mid-July and throughout September.

Hygeia Mobile showed a more stable performance. Starting at 84 downloads in the last week of June, it reached a peak of 134 downloads in late August before ending the quarter with 91 downloads in the final week of September.
