Top 5 Insurance Apps on iOS in Latin America Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the insurance app sector on iOS in Latin America. Here’s a closer look at the top 5 performing apps based on their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão e + from Porto Seguro had an impressive quarter, maintaining a steady increase in weekly downloads. Starting at around 8.5K downloads in late June, the app peaked at approximately 11.2K in early August. Active users also saw a notable rise, climbing from around 160K in late June to over 180K by the end of September.

Bradesco Seguros showed consistent performance, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 6.5K and 8K throughout the quarter. The app’s active users grew from around 46K in late June to over 51K by the end of September, indicating a steady user base.

Unimed Nacional experienced a significant uptick in weekly downloads, especially in August, where downloads surged to over 7.3K. The app's active users also increased steadily, starting from around 25K in late June and reaching over 35K by the end of September.

Bradesco Saúde saw a varied performance in downloads, peaking at around 6.4K in early August and then fluctuating around 5.6K to 6.2K towards the end of the quarter. Active users for Bradesco Saúde grew from around 32K in late June to over 33K by the end of September.

SulAmérica Saúde also had a notable quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from approximately 4.2K to 5.3K, with a slight peak in early September. Active users increased from around 40K in late June to over 42K by the end of September.
