The third quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the finance app category on the Android platform in Mexico. Here, we break down the performance of the top five finance apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Banco del Bienestar Móvil experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated throughout the period, peaking at approximately 457K in the final week of September. The app saw a notable rise in weekly active users, starting from around 1.29M at the end of June and reaching up to 1.82M by the end of September.

Coppel: compras en línea maintained a consistent presence. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with the highest point being about 246K in mid-August. The app's weekly active users also demonstrated stability, fluctuating slightly but ending the quarter at approximately 2.38M.

BBVA México saw a steady performance in terms of weekly downloads, which peaked at around 206K in the last week of August. The weekly active users for the app started at approximately 7.95M at the end of June and saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at around 8.07M.

DiDi Finanzas: Rápido y seguro showed impressive growth in user engagement. Weekly downloads were highest in mid-August at about 207K. The app's weekly active users saw a significant increase, starting from around 586K at the end of June and reaching approximately 1.08M by the end of September.

Banco Azteca demonstrated steady growth. Weekly downloads saw a consistent upward trend, peaking at around 128K in late August. The app's weekly active users increased from approximately 4.11M at the end of June to around 4.30M by the end of September.
